Python Job: Data Scientist (Python,SQL)

Data Scientist vacancy for a globally operating Zürich based company in the technological sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing code, building statistical models, setting up surveys and analyzing survey results
• Establishing and maintaining infrastructure like database tables, dashboards, automation scripts, websites, documentation
• Collaborating with Designers, Qualitative Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers to measure advertiser centric metrics
• Improving advertiser experience by examining existing data, product designs and research
• Driving change by communicating findings to stakeholders in the company
• Making research findings convincing and actionable for both research experts and non-experts

Your experience/knowledge:

• Several years of work experience in data science, data analysis, business intelligence or an applied research setting, especially with User Experience or Human-Computer Interaction teams
• Fluency in SQL
• Good command of any programming language commonly used for data manipulation and computational statistics such as Python, R, Matlab, C++, Java, or Go
• Expertise in survey research, survey analysis, multivariate statistics and statistical modeling
• University degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Statistics, Psychology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Your soft skills:

• Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross functional team
